To promote the Black Dahlia Ballet, the talented Daniel Lynn took publicity shots in the rehearsal space. Check out my attempt to do the Michael Jackson 'Smooth Criminal' dance move.
This Sunday at 6 pm I'll be performing one of the monologues from my one man Spank show that's coming up at UCB.
Come on out and get a preview of the silliness to come.
'm very excited to announce that I'm performing 'Tower Defense' at UCB this coming April 17th at 6:30 pm. It'll be the first of two Spank shows performing in that time slot. I wrote this absurd one man show, and Richie Root is directing.

Come on out and enter the ridiculous world of the popular flash game.
Like the game, it'll be a delightfully colossal waste of time.
Last week I finished a quick shoot for the Black Dahlia Ballet short film wherein I play the detective. The film will be about 5 minutes long, and is intended to garner interest for a feature film. It was shot on the RED camera, and from what I can tell is going to look amazing. It has a really talented team - Daniel Lynn as the DP, Avi Quijada as the line producer, and Stephen Espinosa and Mary Ablaza as the director/choreographers. The lovely and talented Adrianne Richards plays Moira, an actress who is playing Elizabeth Short (known as the Black Dahlia) in a ballet about the murder. Here are some shots from the day of the shoot.
I'll be performing in two improv shows this week. One is with my indie team Tupac Liqueur at the Manifesto Show with a stellar lineup including group game specialists Typhoon and UCB Harold team The Ruckus. The other is a 301 class show at UCB, and my class is stacked with solid improvisers, some of whom perform regularly around town in indie shows and at iOWest.
Come on out and see me throw down on some silliness.
Last Thursday I shot a ridiculous infomercial with Josh Blackburn and Behn Fahnnin of the sketch group Rigor Tortoise. I wrote and acted, Behn directed, and Josh handled mostly everything else. I just saw a rough cut yesterday, and am looking forward to share it with everybody. It's very silly. Here's a pic of us three after the shoot.
I've been cast as the lead in a noir ballet film about the Black Dahlia murder. We're rehearsing in an amazing space provided by friends of the choreographers. I'm excited and intimidated by the challenges inherent in joining such a foreign world and work in progress such as this. My good friend and excellent actor Adrianne Richards brought me into the project, and after meeting with the director and choreographer they took me on. I will play the main detective working the case.
